SnowKate says:  After reading the above how can you not love it? Not only is this for a great cause, but to my surprise it's a great lotion too! It isn't super thick which I am not used to, usually in my book the thicker the better, the more moisturizing but LUSH is teaching me that this isn't the case always. A little goes a long way because it doesn't have all the fillers and waxes that other products do, this goes for all LUSH products not just Charity Pot. This is so hydrating! I use it all over my body after the shower and on my hands every night before bed and my husband, daughter and mom all have used it and love it. We've all been using the smaller pot since beginning of October and it's not even half way gone. This made my top 10 LUSH products video that I'll post below.

 

 

Worth the money? Absolutely!!! This is worth the money just for the cause alone. I will definately be purchasing the large pot next time!

 

 

Best used for:  all skin types! My friend uses this on her face too and loves it but she doesn't have sensitive skin like I do.

 

 

Smell: To me this smells like white chocolate! I love it!

SnowKate says:  This tastes amazing! I get very crusty dry lips and I need a good scrub. This works so well, isn't too abbrassive and smells and tastes amazing! Also, you lick it off! Is there anything greater than that? You just put your finger in the pot, take a little out and scrub on lips and then lick. Couldn't be easier! Follow with a good lip balm before bed and wake up to baby soft lips. I will post my daughters top 10 LUSH products video below which includes this bubble gum scrub. You can get a better look at it.

 

 

Worth the money? Yes! You really get a huge amount in this. I honestly don't think I will ever go through this, and my daughter, husband and myself all use this. This has been used probably 30 times before taking the pic above. A little goes a long long way.

 

 

Best used for? Everyone! All skin types, dry, children even

 

 

Smell? This has to be my all time favorite LUSH smell. Just a sweet sweet bubblegum cotton candy smell. It's just like the MMM melting marshmallow moments bath melt. Very Snow Fairy like for all you Snow Fairy lovers!

SnowKate says:  Amazing! I actually received this in a Christmas set that was Buy one get one for Boxing Day sale. There was 5 products inside and honestly this was the one I was least looking forward to. But to my surprise this is the one I use the most! It is small in size but huge on imapct. It is so multi purpose, I reach for this instead of vasoline, chapstick or A & D ointment. A must have for anyone with children! What does it do? It moisturizes and heels. Here is what I have used it for:  chapped lips! We live in Minnesota and it's so dry! My husband, 4 year old and 5 month old and myself all use this on our lips. My daughter keeps licking her lips so gets that ugly ring around her lips and this makes it almost completely gone overnight. My biggest use, my 5 month old had that craddle cap a.k.a. crusty head after he was born. Dr recommended using baby oil and lotions but nothing helped. Found out he actually had eczema and was prescribed a cream that cost $110 for a travel toothpaste sized amount. Phew thanks to insurance only $12. That stuff worked some but had such a strong chemical smell that I didn't want to put it on him, especially at night. Tried this one night and boom! It was gone! No lie! My husband now also uses on his eczema. I have used this on all my babys dry spots he gets. Also I use it on my tattoos to keep bright. I think this would work like tattoo goo or A & D aointment after getting a tattoo. See what I am saying, multipurpose! This made both mine and my daughter's top 10 LUSH products videos, I'll post them below.

 

Worth the money? Yes! At first you will think omg what a waste of money! $14 for this little thing? BUT It was used sooo many times before pic taken above. This thing lasts!

 

Best used for: everyone! all skin types, parents, people with tattoos, anyone with dry skin...

 

 

Smell? Yes there is a weird smell! At first it's like ummm this is going on my lips? It has a smoky smell to it. It's not bad, just doesn't seem like something you'd put on your lips. I don't really notice it anymore.

SnowKate says:  I really like it! I am not at all into bright lips, and was nervous at first when trying this. I was happily surprised at the color. You can control the intensity. I will have pictures below of a light and heavy application along with how it wears over time. I am not usually a fan of lip products that come in a pot, I don't like sticking my finger into something then having to find something to wipe my finger off with. Also, I don't like getting it under my nails. As of right now this wasn't a problem. It isn't really soft so it doesn't go under the nails. It has somewhat of a gritty feel to it, like it has fine fine sugar in it. Not as big of sugar chunks in the sugar scrub but finely milled. I was really surprised at how it moisturized without being a really soft balm. After time it didn't dry out my lips. The color did fade in time but that's to be expected. I will post a video below of my LUSH Valetine's Day haul so you can see in video the size and swatch.

 

Worth the money? Yes, I have used it a few times and haven't made a dent in it as you can see above. I think this will last a whole lot longer than a tube of lipstick would.

 

Smell? I was surprised that this says apple cinnamon for the smell. I think it tastes/smells like a glazed donut.

SnowKate says:  I love it! This is in both mine and my 4 year old daughters top 10 LUSH products video. (I'll post them below) I have very thick, dry hair and also I have recently had a baby so my hair is falling out and just a mess. My daughters hair is the opposite, very fine and thin and her hair looks greasy if I use too moisturizing of a product and my hair is too dry and straw like without something moisturizing. This works for both of us! This makes my hair SO soft! I honestly didn't think it was possible for me to have hair this soft. When I first got it, I thought what am I supposed to do with this thing? I have never used a solid shampoo before. I have a video demonstrating how I use it that I will post below. It lathers but not as well as some of the other LUSH solids but I think because it also has conditioner in it. Don't get me wrong it does lather. I don't feel clean without any lather. In the video I didn't use that much so the lather isn't as good as I normally do now that I have the hang of these solids more. This is so incredibly easy for using on kids. My daughter has the 2 in one stuff and has used my stuff but nothing compares to this. I use only this with my daughter and her hair is soft, shiny, tangle free. For my hair I follow with either the Big solid conditioner or the American Cream conditioner, both are very light. I haven't tried using only this in my hair.

 

 

Worth the money? Oh yeah! This was alot bigger than I thought it was going to be. I was told you can get 80 washes with this bar. I believe it! I have used it probably 10 times and my daughter 10 times and it looks brand new. There was probably 8 uses before taking the picture above. I would recommend getting a shampoo tin for $3.95 otherwise I could see if becoming a mess as it gets smaller and softer.

 

 

Best used for:  all hair types

 

 

Smell? It says it smells like jasmine which it does but not an overpowering jasmine. After buying Lust soap, perfume and dusting powder I now know that I do not like the smell of jasmine. I can completely tollerate this smell though, and it smells till the next time you wash it.

SnowKate says:  This stuff is really nice! I could never use a toner before, they are really drying and have alcohol and burn my dry sensitive skin. This one doesn't burn at all. The one negative thing I have to say about this is the spray is bad. It says to either spray directly onto the face or on cotton pad. I tried right on my face and the spray comes out like a squirt gun, has some force to it. Not a problem though, I spray it directly onto a cotton round and then rub all over face. I like to use a round anyways because I am a wierdo and like to see the dirt and makeup the the toner got off that my cleanser didn't. This feels really refreshing on the face. I bet it would feel amazing in the summertime if stored in the fridge. Next time I will pick up the larger size foresure. I do sometimes spray directly on my face knowing it comes out hard but it isn't so bad since I am aware of it. The first time was a shocker. I wouldn't recommend using over makeup just because of how hard it comes out. This makes my skin feel refreshed, clean, hydrated and just overall nice. Would I die without this product? Probably not, but it is a nice thing to have.

 

 

Worth the money? Absolutely! It's a good sized bottle for $9.95. Drugstore bottles are probably the same price for same amount but this one is actually good for your skin. The bigger size is an ever better deal.

 

 

Best used for:  any skin type

 

 

Smell? I don't really notice any smell to it.

SnowKate says:  This stuff is amazing! After burning my face on the Ocean Salt this serum bar stopped the burning when nothing else would. It  feels so luxerious on the skin. It says to melt the bar into your hands then apply to face but I rub the bar right onto my face and it just feels amazing! I have put it on under a face mask as LUSH says and also under moisturizer and just on its own. It is a little greasy, but not in a bad way, more in a moisturizing way. I wouldn't put it on during the day, just at night. This bar is so gentle I also put it on under my eyes and haven't had any sensitivity towards it. Ok, now on to what it has done for my skin. I have been using it every day since Valentine's Day, so 9 days. My skin is smoother, more hydrated, flaky dry skin gone, red burns from reaction to Ocean Salt gone, noticable fading in acne scars.

 

 

Worth the money? Yes, although at first the bar seemed very small. I have used to for 9 days, directly on the skin. For awhile there when my skin was really bad I used 2-3 times a day because it felt so good. I haven't even made a dent in my bar yet. The photo above is after 9 days of use.

 

 

Best used for:  dry skin, mature skin, red skin, sensitive skin, scarred skin, any skin

 

 

Smell:  It has a nice, green, crisp, veggie sent. You can kind of pick up on the mushroom smell but it isn't unpleasant.

SnowKate says:  I love this! I originally went to the store with my 4 year old daugther to buy the cupcake mask for her so we could have a girls spa day. The LUSH lady recommended we get Oatfix for her instead since a little more sensitive. This is a little messy, it's thick with oats and almonds and goes on a little chunky. I will post a pic below so you can see it in the pot and on my skin. This moisturizes and also since it has the oats and chunks in it, it exfoliates too. This is perfect! It does have to stay in the fridge, and that is why you can only buy the face masks in store and not online.

 

 

Worth the money? Absolutely! I think these masks are one of the more bang for your buck at LUSH. Although they have a short shelf life. Shhhh I always go over the date on these masks and so far it hasn't been an issue. I used to buy the drugstore masks that are $2-3 just for one mask. Those always feel good but make my face feel a little tight and dry afterwards.

 

 

Best used for:  I think it's best for my skin, super dry and sensitive. I would think it would work on all skintypes though.

 

 

Smell? This smells like an oatmeal cookie! My husband actually asked this is all natural right? And took a small piece and ate it. (Eww but he said it tasted like cookie dough).

SnowKate says:  Ouch! This did NOT work for me. I was really looking forward to using it, I finished my other face scrub and wanted to find something cheaper and was hopeing this would be it. I do have to say that I have very sensitive skin so I am sure it would work great on non-sensitive skin. It honestly felt like putting salt on a wound, it was painful. I have spent so much time and money on products tying to fix the mess this created. It was almost like a had a chemical burn. My skin was red and kind of shiny where the layers of skin were burned off, and then it started peeling so badly. All on top of my already nasty, dry, crusty winter skin. I will add a picture of my burned skin right after using below.

 

Worth the money?  Not for me, I am so thankful that I didn't purchase the big one, I really was close. I actually asked LUSH for a sample along with the Mask of Magnaminty with my huge online order but only received the mask sample. I really do think this would be worth the money for someone with "thicker" skin than I have. The stuff I was using was $25 for 2 oz and this was $21.95 for 4.2oz so a lot better price.

 

Would I repurchase? Ummm no thank you

 

Smell? This smells great! Smells like a margarita!

LUSH Superworld Unknown, 25:43, and Vanillary review

LUSH says - sweet neroli, vanilla, and cocoa bring fluffy cotton candy to mind, while rose and sandalwood keep your feet on the ground. The fresh citrus notes of lime and lemon keep things light and exciting.
SnowKate says - It's ok, out of the 3 my least favorite. It isn't gross, but not great. I don't really smell cotton candy. It's different, it's not floral which is a plus. You have to smell this one in store or get the little vial like me first before diving into a big bottle. I am going to try adding with a little solid Vanillary and see how it goes. (Vial was $3.)

LUSH says - Notes of tonka and lime accord, lemongrass, vanilla, ylang ylang and listea.
SnowKate says - Love it! From their description you would never guess that it smells like cinnamon rolls! At first it smells a little sweet and a lot lemony. After about 5 minutes it smells like a cinnabon shop! I love love love it! I also did the Vanillary solid with this over and amazeballs! I am already planning my next LUSH haul and for sure getting the spray. (Vial $3.)

Vanillary
LUSH says - Natural vanilla absolute, touch of sandalwood and note of comforting burnt caramel. Hints of saucy jasmine and cozy tonka bean.
SnowKate says - I love this more than any other LUSH scent! I want to lick my wrists. I smell my wrists all day long with this. I use this to help other perfumes too. I am getting the big bottle of this for Vday! (Vial only $1.95)

Vanillary Solid
Same scent as listed above. I love the solid! I use this to put down under other perfumes. I also rub this onto my palms, rub together and then rub into ends of hair. I put it on my wrists, behind ears, neck, between the boobies. I follow it with the powder because it does leave a sticky mark where the solid rubs onto and the powder removes the sticky. I will post some pics.

This is the solid Vanillary when rubbed onto the wrist. You can see the stickiness and also has small vanilla (?) pieces.

Vanilla Puff Dusting Powder - I use this over my solid Vanillary. I also rub it all over myself after the shower.

Dusting powder and solid perfume pretty much disappear after rubbing wrists together.

LUST

LUSH says - Heady mash up of rich florals and a warm, woody base that lasts on the skin for hours and hours. Unheard of for a perfume to be this sexy. LUSH reviews are insane for this perfume, everyone loves it! Says it's so sexy and everyone, husband, boyfriends... love it! I knew I had to have it. Got the perfume, soap and dusting powder for it.

SnowKate says - EWWW!!! If you have ever gotten a package from LUSH, this smells like the packing peanuts. I hate it, my husband hates it and my daughter. It has to be something with my natural oils or something. I used the soap and it's moisturizing and not as strong smelling, same with the dusting powder which also gives a nice glow.

REVLON PARFUMERIE SCENTED NAIL ENAMEL

I love these! I have gotten 4 in the past week. Everytime I run to Target I keep picking one up. I usually wear Essie or Nicole by OPI but these are good! They are on Target Cartwheel too, bonus!
Remember those scented polishes back in the day? They smelled like some strange fruit combo and usually just light glitter, no actual color payoff. These go on great, I do 2 coats. They actually smell! I tried the powder puff and the smell lasted an entire week till I took it off. I kept shoving my fingers in peoples faces making them smell them :)
I have only tried Powder Puff, I was worried it would smell like baby powder (ewww) but it doesn't. I smell a nice light perfume smell but my mom said she smells cotton candy. I think she might be right, would also go with the light sparkly pink cotton candy color.
